TALKWORKS - Exeter

NHS Mental health support

TALKWORKS is a free and confidential NHS talking therapies service, here to help adults (age 18+) improve their mental and physical wellbeing.

What help can I access?

Our Exeter team is located at Compass House on Magdalen Road, close to the city centre. The team is made up of accredited NHS clinicians who can offer a wide range of treatment options and talking therapies to help you feel more like yourself again.

Treatment and support can be carried out in a variety of ways, including one-to-one sessions with a therapist or counsellor (available face-to-face in Exeter, over the phone or by video call). We also offer wellbeing workshops, interactive group courses and online self-help. You can learn more about the help available through our service on our website.

How do I access support?

You do not need a referral from a GP to access TALKWORKS’ services, you can refer yourself by completing our online self-referral form, or by calling 0300 555 3344 (our phone lines are open Monday to Friday from 9am - 4:45pm)
