Do you struggle to get to sleep or keep waking up at night? Do you find it hard to switch off and find your sleep suffers as a result? If so, you may benefit from our TALKWORKS For Improving Sleep workshop, where we’ll teach you some handy tools and techniques to help you get a better night's sleep.
The two hour workshop is open to adults (age 18+) living in Devon (outside Plymouth which is covered by Plymouth Options) and will help you learn more about:
- The science of sleep
- Common sleep problems and their causes
- Quality of sleep vs quantity
- Evidence-based ways of improving sleep
- Additional support available
Participants can expect an interesting and insightful interactive workshop, complete with useful handouts and links to further resources. We encourage you to take part in discussions and exercises, but if you are not comfortable with this, it is not mandatory and there is no pressure to join in.
All of our sleep workshops are currently being run remotely via Microsoft Teams, so you will need a smartphone, laptop or computer, a working email address, and confidential space to take part. There are regular daytime and evening sessions for you to choose from:

"I came to TALKWORKS for help with insomnia. My therapist was excellent: knowledgeable about sleep but also a caring, responsive person to talk with. She gave me space to be who I am, and to start where I’m starting, but was firm when steering my direction of travel. She changed my relationship with sleep, which is what I needed.” Peter, former TALKWORKS patient
