Mindfulness Graduates workshop

Free wellbeing workshops from the NHS

Our Mindfulness Graduates Workshop is a two hour session for those that have completed an eight week mindfulness course  (MBCT) with TALKWORKS or another service. In these sessions we aim to support you to maintain, develop, and deepen your practice through a combination of guided meditation practice and revisiting of key exercises from the MBCT course. There will also be unstructured time for conversation, catch-ups and sharing resources.

This workshop is currently being held online using Microsoft Teams. You are invited to attend with both video and microphone enabled, however this is optional and there is no pressure to do so.

This session can be accessed using a laptop, computer or smart phone and you'll need a quiet, confidential space to join from. It is available for adults (age 18+) living in Devon (excluding Plymouth), but may not be suitable for you if you have experienced significant emotional challenges such as trauma, abuse, an acute mental health condition, recent loss or bereavement, major life changes or addiction to substances.

For more general information about who TALKWORKS is able to support, please visit our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) page.

If you have not attended an eight week MBCT course but would like to find out more about mindfulness, we also have Introduction to Mindfulness Workshops available for you to book onto.

Your experience with us

Your feedback matters

“I could not fault the service I received. I was listened to and given so many different resources to help my anxiety and depression. I was so very low a year ago but with the amazing support from my therapist I feel more and more myself every day. Thank you TALKWORKS.”

“The therapy gently supported me to both understand and come to terms with my diagnosis and how it has impacted on me as a person for so many years. I felt I could be open and honest in a very safe space. I not only feel better, I understand myself better too.”

“I was apprehensive about using the service thinking I wasn't "bad" enough but a talk to the cardiac group by a TALKWORKS practitioner gave me confidence to self-refer. I was referred with respect and taken seriously throughout, felt safe and was given tools and advice to help myself take control of my situation.”
