The first Wednesday of November is National Stress Awareness Day. Stress can impact all aspects of our life, including at home, in the workplace and when we are spending time with friends or family members. It can manifest itself in a number of ways, including causing headaches, sleep difficulties and increased anxiety. If stress is impacting your day-to-day life and you are looking for ways to manage stress, TALKWORKS can help.

What support can TALKWORKS offer?

TALKWORKS is an NHS Talking Therapies service, commissioned by Devon Partnership NHS Trust. Our fully trained and accredited NHS clinicians can provide you with a range of tools and techniques to help you get to the bottom of your worries and reduce the impact of stress.

How do I access support?

As an NHS service, all of our treatment and support is available free of charge. You don’t need to see a GP before you come to TALKWORKS, you can refer yourself via our online self-referral form, or by calling 0300 555 3344 (our phone lines are open Monday to Friday from 9am – 4:45pm).
