Access support from TALKWORKS
Self-referThis time of year can be difficult for many. If you are finding things hard or you’ve noticed a change in your mood, NHS talking therapies can help.
TALKWORKS, Devon’s NHS talking therapies service, is open to adults, age 18+, living in Devon (outside Plymouth, which is covered by Plymouth Options).
Our NHS service can help with a range of difficulties, including:
TALKWORKS offers one-to-one appointments with NHS therapists and counsellors, available face-to-face, over the phone or by video call. Online self-help (available 24 hours a day, seven days a week) is also available, alongside wellbeing workshops and interactive group courses. All treatment and support provided through TALKWORKS is available free of charge through the NHS.
You don’t need to see a GP to access our service. You can self-refer to TALKWORKS by completing our online self-referral form or by speaking to a member of the team on 0300 555 3344. If you’d prefer to see your GP first, you can ask them to make a referral for you.
If you are struggling, please don’t keep it to yourself. Talking can help, and is often the first step to getting back to feeling like yourself again. You are not alone.
