Sometimes when we are going through a difficult time, we may not be able to make sense of what’s happening and we may be searching for answers as to why we are feeling the way that we are. The road to recovery can take unexpected twists and turns, but with support by your side, the journey can be much smoother.
Here is a poem called ‘Journey’, written by Chaam Klinger, who had a positive experience using TALKWORKS:
I started a journey
Seeking answers
Searching for the why and how
I asked the stars
Yet they were silent
I asked the trees
But their whispers meant nothing
I asked the ocean
But she raged in anguish
I started a journey
Searching for answers
Questions tormenting
Uncertainty swirling
I turned a corner
Gazed into a lake
Saw my soul mirrored in her depths
I found my peace
I found my answers
Deep within myself
Thank you to Chaam for sharing her poem with us.
