Administrative professionals day – thank you to our admin staff

Administrative Professionals Day offers the chance to celebrate the fantastic administrators working across the NHS, including our wonderful admin staff here at TALKWORKS.

The administrators within our service are the first point of contact for service users. They work incredibly hard behind the scenes to help our teams across Devon with a wide range of tasks, including processing referrals, booking appointments, answering questions, sending our promotional materials and logging minutes for internal meetings.

Each and every one of our administrators makes a difference in the role that they do. Some of our TALKWORKS leadership team have shared words of thanks to our admin teams across the service:

“Thank you so much for all you do! All the message taking, rejigging, arranging... such an enormous help that makes life so much easier for us.”

“Amazing people, caring, conscientious, unflappable, incredibly efficient and accurate. A pleasure to have in the team!”

“Thank you to all the administrators that are the front door of the service, who are able to help people get the support they need in a professional and compassionate way.”

“You literally are the oil of the cogs, without the oil there would be no TALKWORKS. You are the unsung heroes of all NHS departments. You can always rely on ADMIN!”

“I think we are so lucky at TALKWORKS to have such a friendly, approachable and personable admin team. You do such a valuable job and are often the first person our patients get to speak to, so thank you for all you do.”

You can learn more about what a typical day looks like for our admin staff in our interview with Ed – one of the administrators in our Torridge team.

If you would like to access support from TALKWORKS for low mood, worry, stress or anxiety, you can self-refer to our service without needing to see a GP first. You can complete our online self-referral form, or you can call us on 0300 555 3344 and a member of our administration team will be able to assist you. Alternatively you can speak to your GP and they can make a referral on your behalf.
